Chitosan as a natural biopolymer has been produced to be the important host for preparation of metallic nanoparticles (MNPs) because its excellent characteristics like:- good stabilizing and capping ability, biocompatibility, biodegradability, eco-friendly non-toxicity properties. can play very role synthesis nanoparticles, chitosan is cationic polymer. It attracts metal ions reduces them also Capps stabilizes. So basically responsible controlled nanoparticle. chelating property. This property due –NH2 –OH functional groups. Size shape are much affected by concentration, molecular weight, time reaction, degree acetylation chitosan, pH medium, method type derivative etc. Metallic nanoparticles`s properties applications associated with their size shape.
